High School Project Updates

Please join us for a community meeting on Tuesday October 28th at 6pm at Berkshire South Regional Community Center at 15 Crissey Rd, Great Barrington.

We will share updates on the project and respond to questions.

Unified Basketball's Home Games

The Spartans' Unified team had a great game against Lenox, closing the gap to just a few points, thanks to Jake St. Peter's string of shots in the final minutes. 

Come fill the bleachers and join the joy to celebrate the season's last two home games! The Spartans' Unified Basketball team's two home games are on October 29, against Wahconah, and November 5, against Hoosac, with both games at 4:30 pm.

Four MMRHS Seniors Win Awards

Congratulations to the four MMRHS seniors who were presented with awards at Thursday night's School Committee meeting. Sadie Honig-Briggs won the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents Award, Reese Duchesne and Mirabelle Meyers both won the National School Development Council Award for Academic Growth and Student Leadership in Learning Award and Tyler Campbell received the Daughters of the American Revolution Award.

Annual Storefront Painting Day in Great Barrington

Continuing a tradition dating back to 1949, Monument and Du Bois students decorated the storefronts in downtown GB on October 28, painting their original Halloween-themed designs on retail spaces, real estate offices and restaurants.
 

Firefighters Visit Muddy Brook

Little ones got big visitors October 20th and 21st, when the Great Barrington Fire Department and their truck rolled in to present on fire safety and let students explore the fire truck.
